We had a small gathering around Thanksgiving. Just 2 of us stayed there but family would visit and want to come back. A cozy well equipped house in the woods, very quiet and warm. Beautiful fireplace and we even enjoyed some snow. Quality furnishings and very clean which was the best part. Highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was spacious and comfortable for our family of 5 as well as my father and his wife. The pool was huge and a big hit for the 3 kiddos. The kitchen included many items that we didn’t have to go out and buy to make a meal as well as Tupperware to store thanksgiving leftovers. There were little things throughout the home that made it feel like we were right at home, like the blankets in the living room, floats for the pool, to detergent for washing clothes. Two living areas were nice with a group of seven staying in the house and the dining table was great to have meals together.

Really loved staying here! The home is cozy and beautifully set up, especially the couch area (perfect for relaxing with a book). On top of that, the house had everything you could possibly need to enjoy a stay in the Catskills. The surroundings are peaceful which made it easy to unwind.
Chris, the host, was great: quick to respond and gave super clear instructions so everything went smoothly. Would definitely come back.

I was looking for a quiet place to relax and recharge. Great location and a lot of room for everyone indoors or outside. Everything is clean Wooden stairs by the lake need to be fixed everything else was great.

The Candida Retreat was top notch. The pictures online did not do this place justice! Absolutely beautiful home, so cozy and very clean and neat. It was actually a very big home with lots of space, even for a whole family. The jetted tub was great, big showers and the temperature was perfect. lots of sitting space from one end of the house to the other even outside. We will continue to book here for our vacations to Florida. Chris's hospitality couldn't have been any better he was one of thee very best hosts I've ever had through Air BnB if not the best by far. So thank you Chris for everything!!

We needed to make a last-minute change to our plans and we were so fortunate to end up staying at Chris’ place in East Jewett over the weekend. The house is perfect and just as described. Everything we needed was labeled and the place was very well kept. Chris helped us with every question we had and even plowed the driveway early so we could get out to the slopes in the morning. I hangout recommend this place more highly!
