Guest Access

Guests have full access to the entire home, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the kitchen. You can enjoy the outdoor wraparound deck with plenty of seating, as well as the backyard fire pit. Additionally, guests can take advantage of the community amenities, including pools, lakes, golf courses, and tennis courts. Check-in details and access codes will be provided prior to your arrival for a seamless experience. We want you to feel at home during your stay!

The Hideout community is a secure, gated resort in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania, nestled in the northern Poconos. Getting around is easy and scenic, but having your own vehicle is highly recommended to make the most of your stay. 🚙 Inside The Hideout Car Required: The Hideout is a spacious resort community with miles of quiet roads connecting beaches, pools, the clubhouse, and other amenities. Parking: Free parking is available at the home and at most amenity areas (clubhouse, pool, ski hill, etc.). Speed Limit & Access: All guests must be pre-registered at the main gate. Speed limits are strictly enforced for safety, and passes are required for vehicle entry. Golf Carts: In summer months, golf carts are a fun and popular way to get around the community (rentals available locally). 🏞️ Beyond The Hideout Lake Ariel & Hamlin (10–15 minutes): Local grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, and essentials are just a short drive away. Hawley & Lake Wallenpaupack (20 minutes): Perfect for dining on the water, boating, and exploring local shops. Scranton & Wilkes-Barre (40–50 minutes): Larger city amenities, shopping, and regional attractions. Ski Resorts: Elk Mountain, Montage Mountain, and Camelback are all within an hour’s drive, depending on the season. 🛣️ Travel Notes GPS directions work well once inside the gate, but it’s a good idea to download maps in advance — cell service can be spotty in certain wooded areas. In winter, 4WD or AWD is strongly recommended. Roads are well-maintained, but snow and ice can make travel tricky.
